We provide theoretical training for Radio Telephony exam which is commonly called as RT exam. It is Certificate of Proficiency Radio Telephony Restricted (Aeronautical) COP RTR (A) aka Radio Telephony license, which is issued by Wireless Planning and Coordination Wing (WPC) for Pilots and AME for usage of Radio for aeronautical purposes. The examination is being conducted six times a year on five different centers in the country as per the following schedule.

April - Delhi
June - Chennai
August - Kolkata
October - Delhi
December - Hyderabad
Radio telephony examination comprise of 2 parts.
Part 1 is transmission examination, where a candidate will be getting a question paper which he have to answer within 25 minutes with the help of route maps, and sometimes with SID, STAR, VOR -DME, ILS approach plates which are being provided along with the question paper. Part 1 question papers are always set to answer from Pilot's point of view. On this part usage of aviation phraseologies is recommended and making the log/transcript of transmission in abbreviated format is highly recommended. If the candidate gets through this stage, then he will be called for Part II, which usually be on same day.
It is a individual viva examination conducted by officers from DGCA and WPC, where questions are being asked from Air Regulation, Airport signals, Radio Aids, Electrics, Electronics, Flight Planning etc. Detailed knowledge of these topics, the ability to explain the same with confidence, is enough to clear this examination.
